Jeffrey Walker was born and raised in the Bay Area. He is a proud Tamalpais High School Red Tailed Hawk. He studied theater and dance at Trinity College in Hartford Connecticut, where he captained the rugby team. After college, he worked full time in the theater industry in Boston and New York City as a carpenter, electrician, truck driver, technical director, and production manager.
In 2016, Jeff decided to take the skills he developed working in theater and use them to tell his clients’ stories in courtrooms throughout California. He graduated cum laude from the University of San Francisco School of Law with a concentration in International and Comparative Law. Throughout law school, he worked at Walker, Hamilton and Kearns, first as a clerk, then a paralegal, and now as a partner.
Jeff is passionate about pushing his cases to achieve the best possible result for his clients, including taking them to trial whenever necessary. He has tried cases to verdict throughout Northern California ranging from Nevada County to San Francisco. He has gotten plaintiff’s verdicts in both state and federal court. His experience in jury trials spans cases involving auto accidents to police excessive force to medical malpractice.
Jeff is a member of the San Francisco Trial Lawyer’s Association, where, as the chair of the New Lawyers Division, he works to provide programming to develop the skills of up and coming attorneys. He is also a member of the Marin County Trial Lawyers Association, the Bar Association of San Francisco, the American Association for Justice, Consumer Attorneys of California, and he is Vice-President of Lawyer Friends of Wine. Jeff has been selected for inclusion on the Super Lawyers “Rising Stars” list every year since he began his practice.
Jeff lives in San Francisco with his wife and two-year-old son. When he’s not in the office, Jeff enjoys spending time outdoors skiing, hiking, or camping with his family.
